Show your School Spirit!

Are you an ISE mom who can't find the perfect earrings to wear with your ISE shirts? One mom complained to me that she never has just the right earrings for her maroon tie-dye shirt.

Introducing...
Indian Springs Jewelry!

These earrings feature a mass of garnet glass beads dangling from a sterling chain. The chain can be shortened or lengthened, depending on your style preference.

A second, simpler style featuring the maroon beads is shown below. Both style earrings can be hung from the hook earrings or a post style.

A variation of these earrings can be created to make them more appropriate for your own little Indian! I can hang them from posts and create a single, dangling maroon bead earring set for your school-spirited daughter.
If you have another style in mind or need different school colors, I'm happy to create something as unique as you are. Coming soon...UT earrings!

School Raffle Donation

Alex's wonderful elementary school just had their Fall Carnival. It's always such a fun, crowded event, and the kids just love it. (I do too!) Part of the carnival involved a raffle, and I donated a few Maybird items.

As an addition to one door prize basket, I made a bracelet and earring set featuring yummy and versatile sodalite beads. The denim blue color goes with so many outfit combinations. I figured that anyone who won the necklace and earring set would be able to coordinate the sodalite with existing pieces in her wardrobe. They show up a little dark in the picture. In reality, the stones vary from a very pale blue to a dark denim-y color with veins of white running through them. They really are beautiful beads.

In another raffle basket was an embroidered jacket in the school colors. I made a pair of maroon earrings to match the ISE school colors. They are shown in the upper left of the picture. The earrings are definately school spirited, yet versatile enough to work with other outfits.

If you were the winner of either of these baskets, please leave a comment and let me know what you think of the jewelry!

Frame Pendant Necklace Set

Another fabulous necklace using the 1-1/2 inch double-sided frame pendant. This necklace incorporates glass milifori cube beads and sterling silver. The focal point of the necklace features handmade lampwork beads and chalk turquoise beads.

The matching earrings are made using the milifori beads. The photo does not do them justice. They are fabulous - perfect length and lots of fun!

This set was created as a custom piece for a client. Similar sets can be ordered and cost $45.

Silent Auction Donation

This set was designed as a donation for the silent auction at Buffalo Mountain Camp. The necklace, bracelet and chandelier earrings feature Amethyst and Sterling Silver with accents of Rainbow Fluorite.

Frame Choices

I can't say enough great things about these frames pendants. They really are wonderful!

These are the frame options I currently have available. The rectangular frames measure 1 inch by 2 inches. I have them in silver and copper finishes. The square frame measures 1-1/2 inches and is only available in the silver finish. I can also order a diamond-shaped frame which is 1-1/2 inches square. All frames feature the hinged mechanism and are double-sided to feature two pictures.

Currently, I've been selling necklaces with these frames for around $35 to $40. Of course, pricing depends on the style of necklace and the beads you choose. I'm happy to give a price quote before you make your decision.

Please remember, if you want a necklace with a picture frame pendant, I will need advance notice. These frames sell quickly and are difficult to find.

Picture Frame Pendants!

After months of searching, I am so excited to be able to offer these wonderful picture frame pendants! They meaure 1-1/2 inches square and have glass on both sides so you can also showcase two photos in one frame. The frames are hinged so you can change the picture often without compromising the frame. (Once closed, the hinge mechanism, which shows in the second picture, folds out of view.)

These frames can sometimes be difficult to find; therefore, they are subject to availability. If you want a frame as a gift, please give me advance notice so I can be sure to have it in stock for you.

Custom Design Necklace and Earring Set

I really want to get into custom design work, and I got my first taste of it recently. A church friend needed a necklace to match her Easter outfit. She had a collection of beads that had belonged to her aunt, and she asked me to incorporate them into the design. The end result coordinated nicely with her jacket (which you can see in the picture) yet it was versatile enough to wear with other outfits as well.

Coral and Turquoise

Coral and turquoise are a classic combination and one that I adore. This simple, clean design features sterling and turquoise glass beads with a pop of color. Perfect with a crisp, white shirt and jeans!

Sterling Silver Mother's Bracelet

This was a special bracelet for me because it was a gift for my cousin Heather from her husband. She wanted a chunky bracelet, so I used the larger alphabet beads and some beautiful bali style sterling beads. The end result was a gorgeous, weighty design that looked and felt more expensive than it really was. Best of all, Heather loved it.

Three-Strand Mother's Bracelet with Pearls

This beautiful design was made for a grandmother with five grandchildren. In order to fit all the names on the bracelet, I used smaller 4.5mm alphabet beads. The pearls and the smaller alphabet beads made the bracelet more delicate, which was an important factor for this grandma.

An Attempt at Children's Jewelry

I rarely make children's jewelry. I'll be the first to admit that it is just not my niche. I leave that up to my friend Tracy at Little Beady Bird - http://www.littlebeadybird.blogspot.com. Tracy has an eye for patterns and color combinations that I just can't seem to produce. That being said, I had to try my hand at it!

The following necklaces were made for the daughters of two close friends, and I was surprised at what fun they were to make. All the necklaces feature Swarovski crystals, pearls and glass seed beads and cute heart-shaped clasps.

I'm sure that as my daughter gets older I'll give this another try, but for now I'm sticking to adult jewelry.

Mother's Bracelet with Crystals and Pearls

This mother's bracelet was made for a dear friend. She already had a bracelet with one daughter's name and crystal birthstones, and she needed to add her younger daughter. Being a self-confessed "pearl girl", she added pearls for a stunning design.

Dichroic Pendant Necklace

This dichroic pendant was hand crafted by Linda Niles and is the centerpiece for a simple sterling and glass bead necklace.

Asian Style Necklace

This asian-style necklace is one of those pieces that will go with anything! The ceramic pendant is hand-painted and measures approximately 1-1/4 inches in diameter. The necklace is made of black glass seed beads, tiny black onyx beads, small peridot chips and sterling rondelles. It is finished with a sterling lobster claw clasp and a two-inch extender. $24

Turquoise Jasper Necklace and Earring Set

I absolutely love the color combinations in this necklace. The turquoise jasper pendant provides a subtle yet striking centerpiece to the green aventurine and sterling beads. It is finished with a small sterling s-clasp and a two-inch extender. The matching earrings are simple drops of aventurine and turquoise.
